Sisters!

The girls are just having so much fun together. It is really going to be a lot of fun watching them grow up together. Papaw Corson got some really cute shots of the girls last week. I couldn't resist posting these. They were both also having fun yelling after each other in the bath tub...so cute! It is so cute that Laney is copying everything that Lily is doing! Oh the fun (and stressful) times to come! I didn't get any great pictures, but on Saturday Lily and I got to go see Dora at Beef & Boards (live acting) thanks to my friend at work who had extra tickets from her daughters birthday party. Lily really enjoyed it, so I think we will definitely try a kids show again at Beef & Boards the next time it comes around. Hope everyone has a fantastic week!

Last week

It was a pretty uneventful week at the Hardwick house last week. Laney was sick at the beginning of the week, but by the middle of the week she was back to normal! Thank goodness! Poor babies just catch all kinds of colds their first year on earth! She is almost crawling! TJ and Tracie were in town and so we all got to visit on Saturday for dinner and drinks! It is always good to see them since they live so far away! Hope everyone has a fantastic week! It is going to be a busy week for me at work, so hopefully it goes well!

The girls are getting bigger every day! Laney is about ready to start crawling! She goes backwards really well and gets up on all fours and rocks forwards and backwards. It is going to be a matter of a few weeks before she is mobile! Lily just cracks me up in the picture below...when it comes to riding the 4-wheeler and being outside, she really doesn't care if her outfit doesn't match! Hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Valentine's Day

This yeas has been so much different for holidays than it was last year b/c Lily really gets into each one! She bought some Valentines to give to her friends at daycare....they were of course Princess Valentines. So on Monday, day before V-day, Papaw and Gramma Corson helped her put them together for her friends and also all the grandparents and Mommy & Dadd'n. Aunt Twyla also stopped by for a surprise visit! Nan and Pa got matching outfits for the girls to wear on V-day, so I tried my best to get a couple of good pictures of the girls together in their matching outfits. It is a little hard to get them to cooperate at 6:45am in the morning, much less after work, but I got a few. Enjoy!!

Dinner Dance

It was the annual fundraising dinner dance for the sheltering wings (domestic violence shelter). This year it was at the Westin downtown and was much better than last year. They had a lot of auction items, great dinner and great entertainment!

Giggly Girls!

We have a Jenny Jump-up, but Laney seems to like swinging in it over jumping in it and both girls have a lot of fun together for this activity!! I just love when they can get each other to laugh so hard!! It makes my heart smile really big!! Enjoy! (Sorry the video is sideways!)

Super Bowl weekend!

As promised, I am finally getting around to posting pictures from last weekend! Some pictures are from the night before and the rest are from the day of the game. Ben and his dad got to go to the game and they had fabulous tickets!! Who wouldn't want to go to the game??!! Enjoy!

Slacking!

I wanted to apologize that I have NOT posted anything from last week. Ben got home late on Sunday and we got really busy last night that I haven't been able to post some of the pictures that he took at the Super Bowl. I am definitely slacking this week!! I will definitely get everything posted by next Sunday. We have a busy week coming up. Thursday night we will probably go and see cousin Claire perform at Speedway High School halftime. Friday is family night at the the Indianapolis Ice at Banker's Life Fieldhouse (formerly Conseco). Saturday is Braxton's 3rd birthday at Chucky Cheese and then that night is the Sheltering Wings Dinner Dance downtown at the Westin. Sunday will be catch up and rest day!! Super Indy!

Super Indy is ready for the Super Bowl. With all the excitement, Ben and I really wanted to go experience some of it ourselves. It was really amazing the little that we were able to see. We went down on Saturday evening to the circle where they had the Super Bowl Roman numerals and racecars painted for ever NFL team. From there we walked down to Georgia street where they have it all decorated and also have a few stages where big names are performing. Patty Labelle performed last night, but it was so crowded it was hard to get around, so I snapped a few shots and we walked back to our car. Indy has done a great job and I encourage anyone that lives here to experience it while they can. Luckily it looks like the weather is going to hold off this week for all who are visiting. I think that our visitors are going to love the transformation. It is compact and there is lots to do! The only downside to all of the hoopla around the Super Bowl is my commute to work. It is probably going to be pretty slow going this week, but it is all worth it to see that Indy can experience the Super Bowl! I have also put some other pictures from this past week below.
